Turin Motor Show enriches with new important events that involve the whole city of Turin. Its packed agenda is directed to a wide public that includes car lovers, collectors, tourists, professionals, press and citizens. A real car celebration that will give people the chance to express their passion. Anniversaries, celebrations, supercars and classic cars meetings will take place in the squares of Turin, right next to Turin Motor Show. The schedule is taking shape and these appointments will make Turin Auto Show a real widespread event.
Wednesday June 19th - Inaugural Day
- 09.30 a.m.- Inauguration inside the Courtyard in the presence of representatives of car companies and political institutions with ribbon cutting through a self-driving car
- 09.45 a.m. - Tour of the institutions among the stands, a greeting from the representatives of political and automotive institutions to presidents and CEOs of car manufacturers
- 02.30 p.m. - Round table open to interventions organized by Pierluigi Bonora (il Giornale) e Valerio Berruti (la Repubblica) con Mario Cianflone (il Sole 24 Ore), Maurizio Donelli (Corriere della Sera) e Marco Scafati (Il Fatto Quotidiano).
- 03.30 p.m. - Car Design Award, the international prize organized by Auto&Design that rewards concept car, production cars and brand design language
- 5.00 p.m. - 100 Km di Futuro, tell the car in a changing world. They talk about it in a quick meeting at the Volante and Facebook
- 06.00 p.m. - Premio Fondazione Claudio Nobis, recognition reserved for the promise of Italian car design
- 06.15 p.m. - Parco Valentino Designers Award, prize awarded by the Valentino Valentino Park Committee to Franco Scaglione ( withdraws the prize Giovanna Scaglione) and the 100 years of work of the Stola Family for the Automobile.
- 06.30 p.m. - Collector's Award, recognition to international collectors whose cars will be exhibited in the Cortile del Castello del Valentino

Tom Tjaarda: a brillant designer
Thursday 20 June will be the day dedicated to Tom Tjaarda and his design work in the field of automotive design: a temporary exhibition of three historic cars designed by the Dutch designer and, from 18.30, a talk to retrace the life of success and professional recognition that make Tom Tjaarda one of the most famous designers in the automotive field.
The event is open to the public and will take place at the Circolo del Design, via San Francesco da Paola 17.
Style Meeting at Parco Valentino
The car designers of the Italian style centers meet with their vintage, special and sports cars at the "Style Meeting".
They are a close-knit group of colleagues, but above all friends and will gather in the prestigious Courtyard of the Castello del Valentino, where they will exhibit their personal cars, reviving the evolution of car design to the public from the 60s to the present.
